Job Overview

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited is seeking a skilled Domestic Testing, Inspection & Remedial Electrician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, repairs, and inspections in the Hackney area.

Main Responsibilities
  • Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, and servicing to ensure the safety and efficiency of electrical systems.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical systems, including identifying and addressing potential hazards.
  • Perform electrical remedial works, including repairs and replacements of electrical components.
  • Conduct new electrical inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Action reactive electrical works, including emergency lighting inspections and repairs.
  • Carry out company works as required, adhering to desired standards and quality management systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, promoting a positive external perception of the company.
  • Comply with company procedures and policies to ensure smooth delivery of our service.
  • Produce timely and accurate reporting, adhering to agreed standards.
Requirements
  • UK Driving Licence (required)
  • Experience in electrical repair, maintenance, servicing, and installations, preferably within the public sector.
  • A sound knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the Electrical Trade.
  • Current Trade Qualifications
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to interpret schematics and electrical drawings.
