Credit Controller

Grafton Banks Finance is seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join their team. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's debts and cash flow.
Key Responsibilities:- Chase payments and build relationships with customers via email and phone
- Manage daily banking and allocate monies received
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely updates
- Produce statements and receipts as required
- Follow up on payment plans and update records accordingly
- Run weekly debtors reports to ensure accurate information
- Support credit control teams with escalation processes
- Oversee refundable deposit processes and ensure deposit charges are recorded
- Process refund payments and reconcile refundable deposits
- Support business process improvements and development ideas
- Provide ad-hoc cover during holidays and sickness
- Manage key agent accounts and chase payments in multiple currencies
The ideal candidate will have proven credit control experience, particularly in B2C environments. Excellent communication and IT skills are essential, including proficiency in Excel and accounting software packages. The successful candidate will be able to work in a team and sole charge, meeting tight deadlines within payment plans.
