Job Summary

Kenton Black Limited is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our finance department, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and reconcile supplier statements, resolving any outstanding queries
  • Prepare payment runs and maintain accurate records
  • Update and maintain Excel spreadsheets, including purchase ledgers and sales ledgers
  • Match invoices to corresponding purchase orders and delivery notes, identifying and resolving any discrepancies
  • Produce sales invoices using Easy Quote knowledge (full training will be provided if necessary)
  • Process internal stock transfers and maintain accurate records
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any outstanding queries
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes
  • Perform general accounts-related administrative duties
Requirements
  • Experience in Sage Line 50 is preferred
  • Essential experience in using MS Excel and Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use own initiative and work in a busy accounts office
