About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Healthcare Support Worker at Burford House Care Home. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents with their daily activities, promoting their dignity and independence, and helping them to live happy and healthy lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support residents with their daily activities, such as washing and dressing, developing their individual care plans, and helping them choose and eat their favourite meals.
- Be a friend and advocate for our residents, championing their dignity and independence.
- Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Prioritize tasks, manage workload, and maintain accurate records to ensure high-quality care.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for residents.
About You:
We are looking for an individual who shares our values of compassion, empathy, and respect for others. You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work effectively in a team. Previous experience working with the elderly is desirable but not essential, as full training is provided.
