Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Manager to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of our After Sales and Hire business in the Southern part of the UK.
You will lead a small team of Field Service Technicians to ensure the smooth running of operations across the South of the UK, in a senior role, with a high degree of responsibility. You will be advancing your career, joining a company where your talents will be recognised and rewarded with generous commission, and guaranteed progression.
Key Responsibilities- Promote our company's solutions to new and existing customers to support sales of new equipment and installations.
- Identify new customers and business opportunities to increase sales of equipment, spares, and hire services.
- Inspect machinery at customer sites, provide service inspection reports, and generate quotations and service proposals.
- Follow up on quotations to convert them into sales.
- Advise customers on the best products to meet their needs.
- Coordinate resources with Contracts Engineer and Installation Supervisor for service, installations, and commissioning in the region.
- Manage the Regional Installation Supervisor for installation delivery in the region.
- Develop the regional business plan with the Field Operations Manager.
- Ensure sustainable regional activities and budgetary control for growth and delivery of After Sales.
- Collaborate with other Regional Field Managers to optimize the use of spare resources between operational regions.
- Background in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Experience managing a team of Engineers.
- Previous experience in an engineering/manufacturing/maintenance environment.
