Role Overview
The Modelling Data and Systems (MDS) team plays a crucial role in providing Modelling, Data, and Visualisation services to the Water Resource function, ensuring comprehensive data management, analysis, and modelling to support our operational responsibilities.
We are seeking a Systems Manager to become an integral part of our team on a full-time, permanent basis, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical direction for immediate risk mitigation strategies and long-term Systems Transformation across the Water Resource Function (WRF) systems.
- Ensure proactive management of unsupported systems while aligning the systems architecture with industry best practices to meet future needs.
- Oversee all Water Resource Function systems utilized across various regions.
- Foster collaborative relationships with Group IT leadership through transparent communication and strategic planning.
Essential Duties
- Develop and implement short-term strategies to mitigate risks, ensuring critical systems operate effectively for regulatory compliance.
- Manage a portfolio of visualisation projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Adopt a user-centric approach to systems implementation, incorporating feedback mechanisms for continuous enhancement.
- Demonstrate experience in Systems Transformation, including strategy formulation and execution.
- Possess extensive skills in gathering user requirements, conducting analysis, and planning responses.
- Effectively manage a portfolio of systems improvement initiatives, balancing resources and stakeholder expectations.
