About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Priory Group. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to individuals with mental illness and personality disorder.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
  • Contribute to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
  • Provide a high standard of care to people with mental illness and personality disorder
  • Lead shifts and mentor student nurses and other members of the team
  • Follow all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice

Working Hours

The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week, with the opportunity to work additional hours as required.

Location

The role will be based at The Ayr Clinic, Dalmellington Road, Ayr, KA6 6PT.

All roles will be subject to a successful disclosure at an appropriate level from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), Access NI or Disclosure Scotland.
