Role Overview

Protocol Education is looking for committed Learning Support Assistants to collaborate closely with students facing significant learning challenges. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in offering assistance, recognizing behavioral triggers, and fostering a supportive relationship with learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualized support to students with profound learning difficulties.
  • Recognize and address triggers, particularly in scenarios where students may exhibit aggressive behavior.
  • Develop and sustain a constructive, encouraging relationship with students to foster an effective learning atmosphere.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Learning Support Assistant, particularly with students displaying challenging behaviors.
  • Capability to identify and manage triggers for aggressive conduct.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with students.
  • Dedication to the role throughout the academic year.
Qualifications
  • Relevant educational credentials and/or experience in a related discipline.
Contract Details
  • Temporary position until the conclusion of the academic year.

All salary rates mentioned will include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advertisement is for a temporary role. In certain instances, the opportunity to transition to a permanent position may arise later.
