About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at The Spencer Academies Trust. As an Autism Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with Autism, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs and learning styles.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with Autism.
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team approach.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in Autism education and contribute to the development of our school's Autism strategy.
Requirements
  • Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in an educational setting.
