About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Pensions Technical Services to lead our Estates & Facilities Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of all planned and reactive maintenance across our university estate. Your expertise will be crucial in developing effective maintenance delivery strategies and providing leadership and line management to the Estates maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance delivery strategies to ensure the effective management of our university estate.
- Provide leadership and line management to the Estates maintenance team, including objective setting, performance reviews, and succession planning.
- Support the procurement and management of an effective and efficient supply chain of maintenance contractors, materials suppliers, and specialist consultants.
Requirements:
- A HND qualification or equivalent in a maintenance or construction-related subject and relevant professional health & safety qualifications (e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH).
- Advanced technical knowledge of mechanical & electrical plant & building systems.
- Proven experience of leading large operational teams delivering maintenance across multiple sites.
