Support Worker for Individuals with Learning Disabilities

Quality Service Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Worker to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities, providing them with the support they need to thrive.
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of our residents. You will work closely with them, assisting them with daily activities, promoting their independence, and fostering a positive and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:- Implement personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Provide companionship and encouragement, supporting residents in their social and personal development.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal hygiene (prompting assistance may be required).
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for all residents, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of resident activities and observations, contributing to their overall care plan.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to provide comprehensive support.
This role requires a compassionate and patient individual with a genuine desire to make a positive impact. You will need excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
Requirements:- Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities in a supported living setting.
- Valid Enhanced DBS certificate covering Adults and Children.
- Up-to-date mandatory training certificates (we can assist with obtaining these if needed).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate and patient nature.
