Consultant Psychiatrist Liaison Crisis Pathway Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in the Liaison Crisis Pathway at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a key role in providing clinical leadership and expertise to our team, working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients experiencing mental health crises.
Key Responsibilities- Provide senior clinical advice and support to the daily triage, assessment of patients, and discharge planning in the Liaison Crisis Pathway.
- Lead the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care and patient safety.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with:
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge in psychiatry, with a strong focus on crisis intervention and liaison psychiatry.
- Proven experience in leading clinical teams and developing clinical policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- A strong commitment to patient-centered care and a focus on delivering high-quality, safe care.
- Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing priorities and demands.
