Consultant Psychiatrist Liaison Crisis Pathway Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in the Liaison Crisis Pathway at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment and management of patients experiencing mental health crises.
Key Responsibilities- Provide senior clinical advice and support to the daily triage, assessment of patients, and discharge planning in the MHCAS.
- Ensure that all referrals are triaged daily and responded to in a timely manner.
- Assess new patients and provide clinical supervision of assessments carried out by other team members as required.
- Build and maintain good relationships with other teams and consultants along the pathway.
- Review complex needs patients to ensure appropriate care packages are put in place.

Requirements- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
- MRCPsych or equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
- Approved clinician status or able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
