VIQU Limited is collaborating with a prominent Managed Service Provider (MSP) recognized for its expertise in digital transformation across various sectors, including industrial, trade, finance, and public services. The organization is in the process of enhancing its operations in the UK and is seeking to recruit a Pre-sales Security Consultant.

The Pre-sales Security Consultant will engage in a hybrid working arrangement following a probationary period, which includes three days on-site and two days working remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the broader Pre-sales team to address cyber security needs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Cyber Security, staying informed about the current threat landscape and the latest trends in the security industry.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to gather and understand customer requirements.
  • Lead the design and review process for security solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance during cyber incidents and assist in developing incident response plans.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Pre-sales role or a similar position within an MSP environment.
  • Familiarity with security standards such as ISO27002, NIST CSF, CIS, or NCSE CAF.
  • Understanding of threat management products and endpoint detection technologies.
  • Knowledge of Security Operations Center (SOC) processes and procedures.
  • A natural problem-solver with strong enthusiasm and administrative capabilities.

Compensation: £55k - £60k (£80k OTE)
