Design, develop, integrate, evaluate, and verify DSP audio filters and algorithms to meet the highest quality standards.

Develop and integrate DSP embedded solutions that deliver exceptional performance and efficiency.

Deliver high-quality designs and code within agreed-upon timelines.

Ensure timely delivery of high-quality tests.

Collaborate with customers to achieve acceptance of Renesas solutions, ensuring compliance with specifications.

Drive and prioritize activities to meet timescales and goals.

Maintain high-quality technical documentation.

Optimize code for reduced maintenance and increased reuse.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Excellent knowledge of DSP, MCU, IC, and audio codec architectures.
  • Strong understanding of embedded architectures and real-time embedded software.
  • Fluent in real-time embedded C/C++ programming with in-depth knowledge of DSP algorithm development.
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Good competency in Python and/or MATLAB.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of fixed-point implementation.
  • Good knowledge of software development workflows and working methodologies.
  • Ability to clearly report bugs using issue tracking tools like JIRA.
  • Ability to work under tight schedules and deadlines.
  • Concise and proactive communication skills in a multi-site and multi-cultural environment.

Desirable:

  • Good knowledge and experience in audio, digital filtering, and portable audio applications such as headphones and wireless earbuds.
  • Experience in optimizing DSP solutions for low footprint, low latency, and low power applications.
  • Previous experience in team leading or technical leading roles.
  • Familiarity with CI tools like Jenkins.
  • Experience using SystemC.
