As a key member of the Tesco team, you will play a vital role in a dynamic retail environment, assisting customers with their foreign exchange needs and ensuring their travel experience begins positively. We aim to support our customers by being responsive to their needs and fulfilling their currency requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Building and nurturing relationships with customers to better understand their travel and currency needs, customizing their experience based on their destination. Positioning yourself as a trusted travel money advisor, offering guidance on Travelex products and services. Engaging with customers to accurately and efficiently process all foreign exchange transactions. Meeting key performance indicators related to procedures, operations, and customer satisfaction. Utilizing attention to detail to manage daily online foreign exchange requests and deliveries. Adhering to best practice legal and regulatory standards while following Travelex compliance protocols.Required Qualifications:
Strong numerical skills – Comfort with handling cash and managing various currencies on a daily basis. Proficiency in IT – Familiarity with computer systems and in-house software is beneficial. Comprehensive training will be provided. Excellent communication skills – Natural ability to engage with people and build rapport, along with being a good listener. Ambition to excel – A drive to make a meaningful impact and a passion for the role.Interview Process Overview:
• Step 1 – Our Talent Acquisition team will review your application and reach out if your experience aligns with our needs for an initial screening.
• Step 2 – You will be invited to an online interview with a Talent Acquisition Partner, where we will provide insights into Travelex and the role while learning more about you. A small numerical and accuracy assessment will also be part of this step.
• Step 3 – If successful, you will visit the bureau to meet the Bureau Manager in person and observe the work environment. The Bureau Manager will discuss daily responsibilities and answer any questions.
• Step 4 – If the visit is successful, we will extend an offer to join Travelex. If not, we will provide constructive feedback.
