Supply Chain Procurement Analyst

The Supply Chain Procurement Analyst plays a crucial role in overseeing the entire Purchase Order lifecycle from initiation to completion. This encompasses the placement and management of Purchase Orders, resolving any discrepancies related to invoices and goods receipt, as well as executing sourcing initiatives for defined scopes. The position demands exceptional interpersonal abilities, robust commercial insight, and the capacity to analyze and interpret data effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate Purchase Orders in accordance with supplier selection criteria and agreed terms
  • Ensure that Purchase Orders are accurate and accompanied by the necessary documentation
  • Oversee Open Purchase Orders and manage any amendments
  • Conduct spot sourcing activities that fall outside the purview of the Sourcing Specialist
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new suppliers and manage changes
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks associated with suppliers
  • Maintain ERP data parameters and oversee Pattern Data management
  • Resolve discrepancies related to pricing or quantities
  • Operate in alignment with corporate policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, ideally within a manufacturing context
  • Supply Chain Certifications are advantageous
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to manage interpersonal relationships
  • Proficient in Project Management and MS Office applications
  • Familiarity with the regional supply landscape and strong analytical capabilities
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
