Refrigeration & Catering Engineer

The Peninsula London is seeking a skilled Refrigeration & Catering Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the good maintenance and repair of all Cold Rooms, Refrigeration & Catering equipment throughout the Hotel and Residences.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out both planned and reactive maintenance works on Cold rooms, Refrigeration & Catering equipment to ensure they are in good working condition and perform reliably and efficiently.
- Ensure Engineering maintenance requests are carried out in a timely manner to a good standard in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintenance programme and operation schedule.
- Cooperate and coordinate with all engineers and external contractors whenever necessary and interact with other departments to provide additional or specialized guest services.
- Minimum 3 years in a similar role within a similar environment.
- Trade certified or NVQ level in Refrigeration & Catering.
- Basic knowledge of building services such as HVAC systems and Plumbing and Drainage and relevant rules & regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively. Good problem-solving skills, organised and detail oriented.
- Fluent English communication proficiency.
