Job Overview

As a Commercial Catering Engineer at Polaris Catering and Refrigeration Ltd, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial catering equipment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' kitchens and contributing to our reputation for delivering top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, service, and repair a variety of commercial catering equipment, including ovens, grills, fryers, and dishwashers.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they become problems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, providing effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to understand their specific requirements and deliver customised solutions.
  • Keep accurate records of service visits, maintenance tasks, and equipment specifications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to provide cutting-edge solutions.
Essential Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Catering Engineer or a similar role.
  • Technical expertise in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial catering equipment.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in catering equipment engineering.
  • CCN1, COMCAT 1, 2, 3 & 5 and Electrical Knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client locations as needed.
