Baker Charles, a distinguished international hospitality organization recognized for its exceptional brand and rapid expansion, is in search of a Finance Manager to enhance their vibrant team. As the organization continues to grow with new locations both domestically and internationally, they require a qualified accountant to facilitate their ambitious development strategies and enhance operational performance.

In this critical position, you will report directly to the Financial Controller and manage all facets of the finance department. Your role will involve leading the Management Accounts process and supervising a team of two direct reports. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts within stringent deadlines.
  • Conducting variance analysis of performance against budget.
  • Managing precise accruals and prepayments on the balance sheet.
  • Performing monthly balance sheet reviews, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Liaising with department heads and operational managers regarding P&L inquiries and accounting treatments.

A significant aspect of this role is ensuring that new investments and pre-opening costs are accurately recorded and readily accessible for senior management review. You will also undertake ad hoc tasks as directed by the Financial Controller, which may include project work and support for new site openings, as well as assisting with audit processes.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a proven understanding of complex multi-site organizations and the capability to lead a team in a high-pressure environment. A self-starter with a proactive approach, strong analytical skills, and excellent organizational and time-management capabilities is essential. Proficiency in Excel and exceptional communication skills are crucial, along with the ability to quickly establish rapport with stakeholders.
