About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to lead on Retail matters across the wider Group, whilst providing support to key internal stakeholders. As a Senior Legal Counsel, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading on Retail matters across the group, including general commercial contracts
  • Working closely with Retail leaders and colleagues to ensure we maintain best practice across the organisation
  • Supporting Retail-related forums across the Group
  • Advising on legal matters pertaining to pricing, marketing, and consumer issues
  • Drafting, reviewing, and evaluating internal policies and legal documents when necessary
  • Organising, updating, and delivering legal and compliance training for colleagues

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced legal professional with a strong background in general commercial contracts and retail agreements. You will have a degree in law (UK qualification preferred) with 4+ years PQE in a law firm or in-house. You will have in-depth knowledge of advising on general commercial contracts and retail agreements, including drafting and negotiating such contracts. You will also have experience/knowledge of providing general commercial advice and be able to work independently and with respect for reporting procedures.
