About the Role

Cundall is a leading sustainability-focused engineering firm, and we're seeking a highly motivated Senior or Principal Engineer to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our Sustainability team, you'll work on exciting sustainable design projects in the UK and globally, developing energy and sustainability strategies for new build and existing buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement energy modelling and sustainability strategies for projects
  • Collaborate with experienced staff to develop your skills and knowledge in building physics and parametric modelling
  • Assist in the development of energy and sustainability strategies for new build and existing buildings
  • Work towards Chartership through one of our accredited training schemes
Requirements

We're looking for a skilled and passionate engineer with a strong background in building physics, particularly in relation to heat transfer, energy, comfort criteria, CIBSE Guidance, and industry standards. You'll have a good understanding of dynamic simulation software, the UK Building Regulations, and the National Calculation Methodology. Additionally, you'll have a good appreciation of coding or a modern programming language.
