About the Role

Cundall is a leading sustainability-focused engineering firm, and we're seeking a highly skilled Senior or Principal Engineer to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our Sustainability team, you'll work on cutting-edge sustainable design projects, collaborating with international clients and partners to create a better, healthier, more sustainable built environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement energy and sustainability strategies for new build and existing buildings, utilizing dynamic simulation software and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with experienced staff to develop and refine building physics and parametric modelling techniques.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative, sustainable, and energy-efficient solutions, minimizing the use of natural resources.
  • Support and encourage team members to work towards Chartership through accredited training schemes.
Requirements

We're looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual with a strong background in building physics, energy modelling, and sustainability. You'll have a Master's degree in Engineering and relevant practical experience in a similar role. Your expertise should include:

  • Building physics and parametric modelling
  • Certifications (e.g., CIBSE Guidance and industry standards)
  • Dynamic simulation software and UK Building Regulations
  • Good understanding of mechanical design and coding or modern programming languages
