About the Role

Oscar is seeking an experienced and ambitious SOC Manager to lead a team in security monitoring and analysis, threat intelligence, and incident response. As a key member of the security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct staff performance reviews and develop and implement training programs to ensure the team is equipped to handle security threats.
  • Collaborate with security and cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks and ensure the implementation of security protocols.
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure efficiency and optimal toolset performance, and suggest areas for improvement.
  • Develop and refine incident response procedures, playbooks, and escalation protocols, and ensure incidents are correctly documented.
  • Ensure the correct configuration and use of security tools, including SIEM, IDS, and firewalls.
  • Develop SOC strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of cybersecurity experience, with 2-3 years in SOC environment.
  • Experience leading teams and managing budgets.
  • Extensive knowledge in security monitoring tools, incident detection, and response protocols.
