Join Our Team as a Waking Night Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Support Worker to join our team at a therapeutic residential home in Brighton. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing outstanding care and support to vulnerable children and young people with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs.

About the Role

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe, warm, and therapeutic environment for our young people. You will work closely with our team to provide emotional first aid, support, and guidance to help them build resilience and achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to young people with complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with our team to create a positive and therapeutic environment
  • Use your knowledge and experience to offer emotional support and guidance
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified to Level 3 in Health and Social Care or a related care field
  • Minimum of 1 year Support Worker experience within the care sector
  • Experience working with high-risk and challenging behaviors
  • Ability to work under pressure and think on your feet
  • Commitment to working within a therapeutic framework
