Job Title: Respite Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respite Support Worker to join our team in the Doncaster area. As a Respite Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities and associated physical disabilities in our short stay respite services.

Job Summary:

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of £23,107 plus an 8.5% all-inclusive allowance. We are looking for an individual with previous experience working with learning disabilities, a Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification, and experience in implementing care planning and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality assessments of support and observations to meet the individual goals, needs, and wishes of adults in the short stay respite services.
  • Develop and implement daily living plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for our service users.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of our service users at all times.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with learning disabilities.
  • Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification.
  • Experience in implementing care planning and processes.
  • Knowledge of enabling services, learning disabilities, safeguarding adults, health and safety, data protection, and CQC principles.
