Job Overview

The Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our CAMHS Crisis Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people and their families who are experiencing a mental health crisis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans to support young people in crisis.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams to provide specialist packages of care and ensure the best possible outcomes for young people and their families.
  • Make informed decisions to improve treatment outcomes and enhance resilience and recovery.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with young people, families, and colleagues to ensure a seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a mental health setting, preferably in a crisis team or similar environment.
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including day and night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays.
