Job Title: Telematics Developer

We are seeking a skilled Telematics Developer to join our team at MIRA, UK. As a key member of our R&D site, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying software for various telematics applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software for commercial vehicle diagnostics and maintenance, fleet management, driver safety and security, and connected trailer services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
  • Develop and maintain software using C, with expertise in real-time, embedded, multi-threaded systems.
  • Ensure security protocols are implemented and maintained throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Work with Agile software development methodologies and Continuous Deployment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IoT and telematics technologies.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communications, or related field.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in embedded software development, product engineering, or software design.
  • Expertise in software development for real-time, embedded, multi-threaded systems.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies and Continuous Deployment.
  • Experience with Internet of Things (IoT) and/or telematics technology.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
