We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team at Dr Dobson and Partners. As a Primary Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and promoting healthy behaviors in our diverse population.
Main Responsibilities- Assist in the development and delivery of specialist primary nurse-led services, including promoting healthy behaviors and maintaining disease registers.
- Administer child and adult immunizations and vaccinations in accordance with national and local programs.
- Competence in anaphylaxis and resuscitation techniques, ensuring safe storage, rotation, and disposal of vaccines and drugs.
- Provide support and education to patients with long-term conditions, promoting compliance with prescribed treatments and encouraging individuals to address health and social wellbeing issues.
- Liaise and maintain good working relationships with all members of the practice team, adhering to the NMC code of conduct.
Essential Qualifications:
- Qualified Registered Nurse
- Registered with the NMC
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in wound management, nursing injections, cytology, and adult and child immunizations
