Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team at Dr Dobson and Partners. As a Primary Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and promoting healthy behaviors in our diverse population.
The ideal candidate will have experience in wound management, nursing injections, cytology, and adult and child immunisations. You will be responsible for assisting the practice in developing and delivering specialist primary nurse-led services, maintaining disease registers, and undertaking annual reviews of patients.
Main Responsibilities
- Administer child and adult immunisations and vaccinations in accordance with national and local programmes
- Competence in anaphylaxis and resuscitation techniques
- Ensure safe storage, rotation, and disposal of vaccines and drugs
- Provide support and encouragement to individuals, families, and groups to address issues affecting their health and social wellbeing
- Liaise and maintain good working relationships with all members of the practice team
