Nursery Manager

At Tops Day Nurseries Ltd, we're seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Nursery Manager to join our team. As a key member of our nursery team, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, educational, and fun environment for our children. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise children, ensuring their safety and well-being, while also organizing and participating in activities that promote learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise children and ensure their safety and well-being
- Organize and participate in activities that promote learning and development
- Develop and maintain the nursery budget
- Monitor the condition of the facility and equipment, and organize maintenance and repairs as needed
- Update parents and carers on their child's progress and behavior
- Prepare the nursery for Ofsted inspections and follow inspector recommendations
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification
- Demonstrate a solid background in effectively managing nursery settings
- Excellent communication skills to engage with children and converse with other staff members and parents
- Creative skills and imagination to provide educational activities that promote learning and development
- A positive outlook to create a secure and rewarding environment for children
