Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Educational Psychologist to join our multi-disciplinary team at Speech and Language UK's Bill Harrison Assessment Centre. The successful candidate will have considerable post-qualification experience and a good knowledge of specialist educational provisions in Surrey and the surrounding counties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the educational needs of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessments and support
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support children's educational and social development
  • Provide training and support to school staff on strategies for supporting children with SEND
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to SEND

Requirements

  • Psychology degree (or BPS equivalent)
  • Professional qualification in Educational Psychology (doctorate, masters or equivalent)
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
  • Considerable post-qualification experience in an educational setting
  • Good knowledge of specialist educational provisions in Surrey and the surrounding counties
