Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Educational Psychologist to join our team at Speech and Language UK's Bill Harrison Assessment Centre. As an Educational Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in assessing the educational needs of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's educational needs, using a range of assessment tools and techniques.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans to support children's learning and development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure that children receive the support they need to reach their full potential.
- Provide training and support to teachers and other professionals on topics related to child development and educational psychology.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to child assessment and education.
Requirements:
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Educational Psychology or a related field.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Significant experience working with children with SEND, preferably in an educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
