Senior Banking Analyst Opportunity at Walker Lovell

We are seeking an experienced Senior Banking Analyst to spearhead our coverage and benchmarking of banking in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. As a key member of our editorial team, you will drive content generation, lead benchmarking initiatives, and represent our publication at industry events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead banking coverage in the MEA region, delivering in-depth analysis and insights.
  • Conduct interviews with senior banking executives to produce high-quality industry content.
  • Leverage benchmarking data to identify trends and best practices in MEA banking.
  • Develop a strategic content plan to drive subscription product growth.
  • Represent our publication at high-profile industry events, enhancing our reputation.
  • Collaborate with global analysts on rankings, awards, and benchmarking programs.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted voice within MEA banking.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in financial journalism or as a banking analyst/consultant.
  • In-depth knowledge of global banking, particularly in the Middle East and Africa.
  • Proven ability to produce engaging financial content and present effectively to senior banking leaders.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
