Job Title: Strategic Planning Director

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Planning Director to join our team at Starcom. As a key member of our planning department, you will be responsible for shaping and driving forward our clients' strategic visions, ensuring that our day-to-day activities are aligned with their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of strategic plans for our clients, focusing on performance-led digital activity
  • Manage multiple planning projects and stakeholders simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data, analytics, SEO, and content, to drive growth and innovation
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert guidance and support
  • Manage and mentor a small team of account managers and executives, providing coaching and development opportunities

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a client-facing comms planning role, with a focus on performance-led digital activity
  • Strong project leadership skills, with the ability to drive accuracy, organization, and collaboration
  • Experience managing a small team or individual, ensuring high-quality output and development opportunities
  • Ability to work within and contribute to an integrated agency team across media and data
  • Strong grasp of the communications planning process and an understanding of how digital channels can work alongside other media
  • Proven knowledge of digital planning, buying, and analytical evaluation processes
