Job Title: Senior Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Clinical Lead for our Looked After Children (LAC) service. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the development, provision, and evaluation of psychological services for children and adolescents in care.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience working in LAC and CAMHS, with a strong background in clinical leadership and supervision. They will be able to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve effective, evidence-based service provision and ensure that services are high-quality, cost-effective, and culturally appropriate.

The role will involve consultation with the network surrounding looked after children, as well as providing clinical supervision and support to other practitioners within the team. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of children and adolescents in care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the development, provision, and evaluation of psychological services for children and adolescents in care.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve effective, evidence-based service provision.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to other practitioners within the team.
  • Consult with the network surrounding looked after children to ensure that services are meeting their needs.
