About the Role

As a Senior Associate in our Employee Incentives and Private Capital practice, you will play a key role in helping our clients achieve their business objectives through effective reward structures and equity incentive plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building the Culture: You will be responsible for recognizing your role as a leader and contributing to the development of a positive and inclusive work environment at Burges Salmon. This will involve inspiring others through your actions and supporting strategic proposals to embed change.
  • Delivering Results: You will be expected to achieve your personal objectives and understand business plans to assist in their delivery. This will involve focusing your contribution to align with overall priorities and implementing strategies to support their delivery.
  • Growing our People: You will play an active role in the development of those you have responsibility for, cementing your standing as an expert in your chosen area or sector. You will deepen your technical know-how, commercial acumen, and sector/market knowledge.
  • Developing our Business: You will make a meaningful contribution to efforts to develop new client relationships and take a lead role in the firm's efforts to protect and enhance existing client relationships.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience working on reward structures and equity incentive plans
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to manage a complex and varied workload effectively
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn
  • Experience of leading others to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Experience of effective matter management and business development activities
  • Must be a SRA or Law Society of Scotland registered lawyer
