Position Overview

About the Role:

As a pivotal member of the Employee Relations team, you will report directly to the Head of International Employee Relations. This position entails overseeing all employee relations cases within the UK and select international regions, contributing to the execution of strategic initiatives.

Your expertise will be sought after by a leading global pharmaceutical organization, where you will provide essential support in navigating complex employee relations scenarios, performance management, workplace investigations, and critical incident management.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert across a diverse range of employee relations matters, including:

  • Performance management and internal investigations
  • Disciplinary actions and terminations
  • Severance processes and redundancy consultations

You will deliver guidance and support to employees, managers, and HR colleagues, addressing and investigating complaints related to intricate employment issues. This role will require collaboration with the senior Employee Relations management team and legal counsel, both internal and external.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • CIPD qualified with 3-5 years of relevant experience in Employee Relations
  • Proficient in employment law through hands-on case management in dynamic, multi-site environments across the UK and Europe
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to collaborate and influence at all organizational levels
  • Experience in operational settings, showcasing strategic thinking and solution-oriented approaches while exercising discretion and independent judgment in sensitive employee relations matters
