This position offers a permanent contract with full-time hours (35 hours per week) during the academic year, along with additional flexible working weeks during school breaks, ensuring a total of 10 weeks of paid vacation.

As a Communication Specialist, you will:
- Engage with children on an individual basis or in small groups within dedicated therapy areas and classroom settings to facilitate their learning and participation in school activities.
- Participate in professional development, training sessions, and outreach initiatives.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including educators, therapists, learning support staff, educational psychologists, and care professionals.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Experience working with children, particularly those with significant and complex communication needs.
- Proficiency in drafting reports for parents, caregivers, and other professionals.
- Membership in the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
- A recognized degree in Speech and Language Therapy or an equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
