Project Officer - Corporate Initiatives

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Officer to play a key role in driving forward our corporate projects in Royal Leamington Spa town centre. This is a fixed-term position for 2 years.

As a Project Officer, you will work closely with stakeholders to scope and develop projects, collaborating with colleagues, councillors, and external partners to deliver projects that improve the economic prosperity of the area and the lives of those living within the district.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading large-scale programmes of work, feasibility assessments, and major projects in planning, economic development, and regeneration
  • Collaborating with colleagues, councillors, and external stakeholders to deliver projects
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  • Providing project management support to the team

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of the planning system, excellent collaboration, communication, and negotiation skills, and experience of working on large-scale projects. A professional qualification recognized by the Royal Town Planning Institute or Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors is desirable but not essential.
