Job Description
Key Responsibilities- Invoice and Expense Management: Manage and process invoices and expense forms, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
- Accounts Payable Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies or errors.
- Supplier Statement Reconciliation: Reconcile supplier statements monthly, ensuring accurate payment of invoices.
- Payment Disbursement and Tracking: Disburse payments to vendors and track expenses, maintaining accurate records.
- Month-End Closing Support: Assist in month-end closing, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Accounts Payable Reporting: Prepare reports detailing accounts payable status, providing insights for business decisions.
The Successful Applicant
We are seeking a highly skilled and organised Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Fast-paced high-volume experience, with a minimum of 100 invoices processed daily.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, with expertise in spreadsheet, pivot tables, and Vlookups.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
