Page Personnel Sales is a leading recruitment agency specialising in sales and marketing roles. Our client is a large-scale manufacturing and distribution organisation based in Wolverhampton, employing a diverse team of professionals in various roles across the business.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing invoices and expense forms, reconciling accounts payable transactions, and ensuring accurate payment of invoices.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage invoices and expense forms in a timely and accurate manner
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions on a monthly basis, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors
- Disburse payments to vendors and track expenses
- Assist in month-end closing and prepare reports detailing accounts payable status
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
Requirements
- Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Fast-paced high-volume experience (100 per day minimum)
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (spreadsheet, pivot tables, and Vlookups)
- Knowledge of general accounting principles
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
