About the Data & Analytics Team

Our team is responsible for the entire data lifecycle, from infrastructure to insights and strategy. We've recently implemented a new data platform powered by Snowflake and successfully delivered several impactful analytics use cases. Currently, we are focused on migrating and redesigning our data warehouse and reporting suite.

The Role: Senior Data Analyst - Insights & Strategy

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing critical analyses and data products that drive business decisions. This is a holistic analytics position encompassing requirements gathering, data pipeline development, reporting, and advanced analytics. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization, acting as an advocate for modern analytics tools and promoting best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver actionable insights that enhance business operations through high-quality data analysis.
  • Visualize and present compelling data-driven narratives to stakeholders using Power BI.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of robust data pipelines utilizing dbt, Matillion, and Snowflake.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet their needs and are delivered efficiently.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in data visualization using Power BI or similar tools (Looker, Tableau).
  • Strong SQL and Python skills.
  • Experience with data warehousing/lakehousing platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, Google BigQuery, DataBricks) and ELT processes (dbt, Matillion, cloud-native equivalents).
  • A business-oriented mindset coupled with exceptional analytical abilities. The ability to translate data insights into clear and concise narratives for stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and a consultative approach, enabling effective collaboration with business partners.
  • Familiarity with predictive analytics techniques (machine learning).
