Job Title: VAT AM/Manager

AVTR is seeking a highly skilled VAT AM/Manager to join our Tax team. As a VAT AM/Manager, you will be responsible for providing VAT compliance and advisory services to a wide range of corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take full responsibility for project delivery on client portfolios
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, including control of billings and cash collection within the firm's criteria
  • Ensure adherence to the firm's quality control procedures, including second partner review
  • Identify risk and technical matters, as well as selling opportunities, to the Partner/Principal/Senior Manager
  • Work as part of the management team with other Tax managers within the business group
  • Provide support to the rest of the Tax team
  • Train more junior staff on the job and through monitoring exam and on-the-job performance
  • Recognize business development opportunities and inform and work with the Partner and the client to develop these when they arise
  • Consult with colleagues and Partners on technical and risk matters

Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of VAT compliance and advisory services
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to identify and capitalize on business development opportunities
