The Opportunity:

Avantor is seeking a highly skilled Bid Manager to join its dynamic international Bid Team at Avantor Clinical Trial Equipment and Ancillary Solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional in bid preparation and proposal management to take on a new challenge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Bid Management Team in preparing high-quality quotations and bids
  • Define customer needs and present solutions and pricing
  • Collaborate with business teams to identify opportunities and maximize revenue
  • Assist bid managers with sales projections and forecasts, as well as associated reports
  • Support the provision of master service agreements, statements of work, and work orders
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience in sales, quotations, bid, or account management
  • Numerically and financially astute
  • Ability to prioritize and execute work effectively to meet strict internal and client deadlines
  • Self-motivated, works with limited supervision
  • High attention to detail and exceptional analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, with strong Excel skills
