The Opportunity:

Avantor is seeking a highly skilled Junior Bid Manager to join its dynamic international Bid Team at Avantor Clinical Trial Equipment and Ancillary Solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional in bid preparation and proposal development to take on a new challenge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Bid Management Team in preparing high-quality quotations and bids
  • Define customer needs and present solutions and pricing
  • Collaborate with business teams to identify opportunities and maximize revenue
  • Assist bid managers in sales projections and forecasts and associated reports
  • Support bid managers and legal in providing master service agreements, statements of work, and work orders
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience in sales, quotations, bid, or account management
  • Numerically and financially astute
  • Ability to prioritize and execute work effectively to meet strict internal and client deadlines
  • Self-motivated with limited supervision
  • High attention to detail and exceptional analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and strong Excel skills
