Early Years Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at a reputable nursery in SN3. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of young children, fostering a nurturing and creative environment that encourages growth and exploration.

About the Role

  • Support teaching and learning in a busy classroom setting, working with children of diverse needs and abilities
  • Safeguard children's emotional well-being and social development, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist with whole-class activities and lead small group interventions to accelerate student progress and achievement
  • Collaborate with teachers to create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment that encourages all learners to reach their potential
  • Maintain a safe and positive learning space that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth

Requirements

  • Hold GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C or above
  • Have previous childcare experience, preferably with an NVQ Level 3 Qualification
  • Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to connect positively with children and adults
  • Display a proactive, can-do attitude and a commitment to the well-being and progress of every child
