Early Years Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at a reputable nursery in SN3. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of young children, helping them thrive in a nurturing and creative environment.

About the Role

  • Support teaching and learning in a busy classroom setting, working with children with diverse needs
  • Safeguard children's emotional well-being and social development, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist with whole-class activities and lead small group interventions to accelerate student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers to create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment
  • Maintain a safe and positive learning space that encourages all learners to reach their potential

Requirements

  • GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C or above
  • Previous childcare experience, preferably with an NVQ Level 3 Qualification
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to connect positively with children and adults
  • Proactive and can-do attitude, with a commitment to the well-being and progress of every child
