Position Summary:

  • Deliver comprehensive care and assistance to individuals with diverse needs, including behavioral challenges, mental health issues, non-verbal communication, and learning disabilities.
  • Assist with personal hygiene tasks (bathing, dressing, toileting) while fostering independence and respect.
  • Support clients in their daily routines, including meal preparation, medication supervision, and household tasks.
  • Establish and nurture positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals.
  • Keep precise and confidential records of the care provided.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a comparable role is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Empathy, patience, and a caring disposition.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Basic computer skills (touchscreen devices, computers).
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a dependable vehicle.
  • Current training in medication management, moving, and manual handling.
  • Enhanced DBS check for both Adult and Child workforce.
