Position Summary:
- Deliver comprehensive care and assistance to individuals with diverse needs, including behavioral challenges, mental health issues, non-verbal communication, and learning disabilities.
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks (bathing, dressing, toileting) while fostering independence and respect.
- Support clients in their daily routines, including meal preparation, medication supervision, and household tasks.
- Establish and nurture positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals.
- Keep precise and confidential records of the care provided.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a comparable role is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Empathy, patience, and a caring disposition.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Basic computer skills (touchscreen devices, computers).
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a dependable vehicle.
- Current training in medication management, moving, and manual handling.
- Enhanced DBS check for both Adult and Child workforce.
