About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Officer to join our Specialist Support for Younger Adults team at North Northamptonshire Council.

As a Care Officer, you will work in a community-based setting, supporting individuals with various disabilities and needs. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct strength-based assessments, identify care needs, and develop personalized support plans to ensure individuals receive the necessary support to maintain their independence and safety in the community.

You will work closely with Supervisors and Management to prioritize tasks, manage your caseload, and ensure assessments and reviews are completed within agreed timeframes. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively listen to and interact with customers, their families, and other agencies to achieve positive outcomes.

We are looking for an individual who is flexible, adaptable, and tolerant, with a practical approach to resolving problems and achieving results. You will be required to travel to various locations, using a vehicle, and attend mandatory training sessions.
